Ranked #2 Tour Operator in Panama City by TripAdvisor
"I had the BEST experience with Barefoot Panama this week on their Historic Train, Fort and Canal Tour. Thanks to Kevin for a memorable day and experience! As my first day in Panama, I could not have asked for a better introduction to the country! Kevin was over the top friendly and so knowledgeable about everything we experienced throughout the day. It was an early morning (6:15am pick up), because he knows how the fine art of schedules (trains, locks etc.) and how this country works. We were fortunate enough to get to the train early for great seats, see ships go through the locks, drive across the locks at Gatun and get to Fort San Lorenzo before the cruise ship tour busses arrived. This is what I love about small, personalized tours. We literally had the place to ourselves all thanks to Kevin! I learned so much on this trip and I would recommend this trip to everyone visiting and looking for a different and unique experience, beyond the basic travel to the city and Miraflores. A MUST DO if you are visiting Panama!"

"Being single and trying to book a tour is a curse since 2-3 persons are needed. Kevin, the owner, was the only one from all the tour companies that I contacted who offered to accommodate having only myself on his Historic Train/Gatun Locks. Luckily a wonderful and fun couple from Florida ended up joining us that day. I also went on their City Tour, Drink and Eat, and Bayano Cave Tour, all great. Jeff, Ross, and Kevin are the best guides, never a dull moment, professional, on time, informative, and entertaining. Added bonus is a brand new van with strong AC!!"

“I traveled with Kevin on a small group, 3 month overland trip from San Diego to Panama through all of Central American countries… He was always on top of things and resolved the issues without us hardly knowing they were happening. He was flexible to our needs and requests, whilst ensuring that we saw the best that each country/area had to show. His local knowledge was amazing so that we got to see things and go places that none of the other trips did. Because of Kevin’s skills I think that we saw more of the real country than we would have done otherwise. And he made it FUN.”
– Mark Enfield
