Day 1: ARRIVE AT SALTA
Upon your arrival at Salta airport, a chaffeur will pick you up and drive you to the hotel. Your guide will provide a short briefing of the tour to come, then you'll have time for a relaxing evening in Salta and a special tasting of local delicacies.The hotel offers a spacious colonial-style bedroom, in a quiet and central place downtown.
Day 2: SALTA - PUMAMARCA via Humahuaca (Distance: 215km)
Your expedition will start from Salta and then travel north to visit of small, local villages, such as Humahuaca and Tilcara. These villages will provide a unique glimpse into the lives of local indigenous peoples and their traditions. Drive to Pumamarca to admire this colorful local town, and the famous seven`color hills.
Day 3: PUMAMARCA - San Antonio de los Cobres via Susques (Distance: 290km)
Head west towards the exciting "Cuesta de Lipan" and its perfectly asphalted 99 curves. Arriving at the top, you will experience a sensational panorama, including a snow cap summit in the far distance. On the other side, a unique experience is waiting for you: driving "Las Salinas Grandes," a great salt lake desert measured against the horizon line. Continue to the highlands along the Dakar Rally tracks with its dusty and sandy trails beisde the Chilean border. Spend the night in San Antonio de los Cobres, a mining town 3,800m high, a subtle reminder of how remote this place truly is. Receive a warm welcome and stay at a comfortable hostel in town.
Day 4: San Antonio de las Cobres - Cachi (Distance: 150 km)
Your mission, should you decide to accept it: Abra del Acay! As the highest road in North or South America, this small town is situated at an altitude of 4,900m. Once at the top, the scenery is magical as you'll behold the El Nevado del Acay summit, which sits high above at a mere 5,750m. On the way down, the road narrows and requires your full attention as you'll arrive at the small Andean village of Cachi. Spend the night in a charming boutique hotel located in the heart of this adorable town.
Day 5: CACHI - CAFAYATE (160km)
Considered the finest stretch of road along the famous Ruta 40 (Road 40). After 50km, on which you'll come across a few isolated villages, the path narrows before arriving at Quebrada de Las Flechas, which features impressive rocky layers and sharp vertical peaks! The road weaves through the villages of Angastaco and Molinos, before arriving in Cafayate and its world renowned vineyards. In Cafayate, you will be rewarded with a stunning estancia, and a lovely view of the vineyards.
Day 6: CAFAYATE - SALTA (200km)
On the final ride, heads north towards Salta. The rocky mountain range becomes even more colorful as you ride through "Las Conchas" canyon and its inspirational rocky sculptures. Mastering the final curves on this astonishing roadway, you'll enjoy a well-deserved break at the "Devil's Throat," which boasts an amazing naturally constructed amphitheater. Arriving at Salta at midday, there are returning flights to Buenos Aires in the afternoon if you choose to extend your journey in Salta or to other destinations.

In order to ensure placement of tour, a 38% deposit is required and must be transferred by bank transfer upon receipt of invoice to Jetset Times. Remaining 62% balance of tour price to be paid in cash (USD) on location upon arrival at Salta. Cash is the preferred payment for remaining amount due. However, you may also pay the remaining amount via bank transfer (6% additional fee associated with bank transfer).
A security deposit of USD$1,000 is required per person on tour, and will be requested at the beginning of the tour. Security deposit will be returned to the customer at the end of the tour if no damages have been made to the motorcycle. If you are responsible for any damage, the necessary fixing cost will be deducted from your deposit.
In case of cancelation made more than 60 (sixty) days before the date of commencement of the tour, the entire deposit will be refunded minus deduction of USD$250 application fee. In case of cancelation made more than 30 (thirty) days before the date of commencement of travel, 50% deposit will be refunded minus deduction of USD$250 application fee. In case of cancelation made less than 30 (thirty) days before the start date of the trip, no refund will be allowed of the deposit in compensation of expenses incurred, and excludes the possibility of seeking additional damages, if necessary. No trip interruption or termination of tour by the customer for any reason whatsoever shall not be subject to refund and/or compensation.
Upon your arrival at Salta airport, a chauffeur will await you at the designated gate to pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. At the end of the tour, a chauffeur will transfer you back to the airport for your departing flight.
Depending on your nationality, it is up to you to check and meet the visa requirements.

All persons on tour are required to have medical insurance prior to start of tour. Must provide proof of insurance in order to complete booking process.

March to November: Dry season. Temperatures are nice in the plains but cooler at altitude (20/28C daytime and 10/15C nighttime).
Local currency is in pesos. It's advised to bring cash for your daily expenses and souvenirs. It is completely safe to carry cash on your person in Argentina, especially if you're paying the remaining balance of the tour price in cash, which is the best option to avoid the 6% additional fee associated with bank transfer.
